This simple board lets you convert low-level digital signals to higher-levels and vice versa. Perfect for 5V to 3.3V interfaces, including I2C interfaces. If you have tried to interface newer 3.3V sensors/ICs to an Arduino, you would have comes across the problem of logic level convertion. Most of the newer ICs have a 3.3V logic high while the Arduino works with 5V. This boards sits in between to do the convertion both ways.
