I started using Rocknroll gold when I got my Specialized Tarmac SL7 in March 2023. It’s now November of 2025, and I have put just over 8,500 miles on the original chain and it’s just now gotten to the 0.5 chain wear indication. Worth noting that I try and avoid using the bike in bad weather, I’ve maybe ridden it in the rain 10 times. The application instructions are very straightforward and easy, apply a generous amount, get all the excess off with a rag, ideally let it sit overnight, and you’re good to go. I typically reapply every 100-200 miles. Highly recommend Rocknroll gold!
