Line finders basically consist of an IR LED as well as a IR transistor helping the robot follow a particular line. Use the Grove Line finder module to design yor own line following robot. It consists two parts – an IR emitting LED and an IR sensitive phototransistor. It can output a digital signal to a microcontroller so the robot can reliably follow a black line on a white background, or vice versa.
